Light Fixture

The light fixture is for a 75 Watt bulb used to make hens lay eggs in days with decreased sunlight. It is not to be used for a heat lamp. Heat lamps and fixtures must be purchased locally.

On the Henspa, the clip is removed, the fixture is inserted in a hole and the clip is placed back on the unit holding the fixture in place.

Grounded Electricity Timer

This is a convenient way to monitor the light. Set it so you won’t have to remember to plug it in or set it for the wee hours of the morning to allow for 10-hour days in the winter or for extra heat during brooding. This timer is grounded for safety. The light and the timer are not recommended unless you have short days during the winter.

Henhut Waterer

The Henhut waterer is not sold separately. It is included in the Henhut Feeder/Waterer Option
