Excellent resource for anyone considering raising chickens. This book describes in detail the joys and sorrows of raising free-range chickens to sell as broilers or layers. Even though it is a how-to book, ("Net $25,000 a Year on 20 Acres of Land Working 50 Hours/Week for Six Months"), any one with a backyard flock is sure to learn something.  Pastured Poultry Profits is fun to read and very informative.
