The Henhotel is delivered by highway on a
trailer that is an integral part of the construction of the coop. The
same trailer is used to move the coop about the farm. |
The hens walk up a trap door/ramp to get inside. When
the door is closed, they are perfectly protected from predators. |
Feed is poured in from bags on one side. Eggs are
collected from the nest on the other side. |
The hens lay on Astroturf laying mat. The eggs roll
into an egg collection area The floor system allows droppings to go to
the ground. The roost pole is a natural limb of a tree. |
Over 50 gallons of water are on tap in the water
tank. |
5 nipples on the tank allow the chickens access both
inside and outside of the coop. |
