Software Development
The design of the software for Wel-Fi has been undergoing revision for
over 5 years. The work has been spearheaded by Stephen Keel, a former AT&T
and Hewlett Packard reseller supplying file servers and networking
equipment to the domestic banking community.
Currently, Ed Burg,
Data Research Group,
is outlining a formal architectural description of the project. Matt
Meinel, Global Director Business Development,
29West, Inc., is providing consulting services using his
experience evaluating financial technologies for international banking
solutions.
Nick Belyaev, www.8bits.ca, is currently adapting the
cell phones and PDAs to the Wel-Fi environment. The first goal is to have
people in Mexico begin
enrolling people in the pilot project for HFTH.
Valuable progress, including a
PowerPoint Presentation,
has been contributed by Javier Ruiz Garcia, Technical Director for
Open Systems Trading and Consulting, Bolivia.
The initial phase of development will focus on serving the needs of the
Help for
the Hungry Project in Mexico. Once those needs are met,
the following features and many others will be added in the order in which
user demand warrants.
